Public Art Exhibition Vitreous Enamel Panels

Links Signs is proud to have recently completed work on South Ruislip Stories – a series of colourful vitreous enamel panels. They comprise the newest public art installation unveiled and commissioned by Hillingdon Council, in partnership with Transport for London. Designed to be a permanent public art installation either side of the road beneath South Ruislip Bridge, the six vibrant panels each tell a story about a historical aspect of the local area, in a graphic style inspired by old London Underground and Metroland posters.

The South Ruislip Stories project is fully funded by contributions from land and property developers to Hillingdon Council, otherwise known as Section 106 Agreements, towards the regeneration of South Ruislip town centre. 2022. The art installation was commissioned by Hillingdon Council. The Metroland style of the graphics was researched, designed and illustrated by Designed by Good People and facilitated with the help of Cllr Sir Ray Puddifoot MBE and South Ruislip Councillors.
