Links Signs – Now A Fully Verified and Approved RISQS Contractor

Links Signs is proud to announce that we are now fully verified and approved with the RSSB’s Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme. This supplier assurance scheme is run by the Rail Safety & Standards Board, on behalf of the UK rail industry. The RSSB is a non-profit making body and independent of any single commercial interest. Contractors who are RISQS compliant have been verified and approved by the RSSB as sources of safe and cost-effective procurement to the rail industry. We are regularly audited as fair and transparent suppliers to the following sectors:

Network Rail
Transport for London
Passenger and freight companies
Rolling stock organisations
Main infrastructure contractors
Any and all contractors managing supply chain risk to the previously mentioned rail transport sectors

RISQS is industry-owned and governed. The assurance scheme is sponsored by a committee of representatives from across the rail industry, under the stewardship of the RSSB.

Links Signs successfully managed a complex project overseeing the manufacture and installation of 48 panels to create a bespoke mural on the Transport for London (TfL) owned bridge and the station entrance at Northwood Hills station. Links ensured not only that all the technical and engineering requirements of TfL were met but also that the extensive colour hues specified by mural artists Gordon Collett and Cosmo Sarson were achieved. The finished result is wonderful, as summed up by Mayor of London Boris Johnson when he visited ‘My God, it’s beautiful! Did we do this? The murals – they’re sensational!’ He added: ‘I think it’s all fantastic, really imaginative. I’m very proud.’
