Earl’s Court Station Modernisation

London Underground carried out a station modernisation of Earl’s Court Station during 2014. Links Signs were awarded the Manufacture and Installation contract for the vitreous enamel signage throughout the station.

The scope of works included preliminary surveys to establish the installation and sizing requirements of the new signage package. Due to the survey, potential clashes were identified early by the project team before becoming an issue on site.

The installation was carried out at night during engineering hours to ensure as little disruption to the travelling public as possible. Our package included LED illuminated signs, new vitreous enamel way finding signage and trackside signs.

Links Signs project team created a detailed programme for the works and worked closely with London Underground’s Site team to ensure all work was completed on time and budget, while working towards the ‘Right First Time’ ethos, reducing snags and programme delays.
