Links Signs were asked by London Underground to fabricate a one off Vitreous Enamel Elizabeth Line roundel set in an Oak backing for Her Majesty the Queen, to celebrate the naming of the new line across London that is to be named after her.

The work was undertaken in complete secrecy as the name had not yet been announced to world. The one off roundel was all fabricated in house by Links Signs production team, included a Carpenter to work on the Oak, Screen Printers to hand print the roundel and enamellers to create the Vitreous Enamel backing panel.

The Elizabeth Line that is currently being constructed by Crossrail will help to transform travel across the Capital, as well as boosting the economy and creating new jobs and homes. The new Elizabeth Line will stretch over 60miles and will stop at 40 stations, and is expected to serve in excess of 200million people each year.

Links Signs are extremely honoured to have been involved with such a high profile project.
